White ENAMEL FUNNEL, Kitchen Funnel, Vintage Kitchenware, Vintage Metal Funnel, 1940s, Mid Century Kitchen, Kitchen Collectible, Accessory

  • Details
This white enamel kitchen funnel is a fun piece of history. If you have ever heard anyone say "They don't make them like this anymore", and related to the concept, then you will appreciate this charming old kitchen accessory.

Back in the 1940s it was common to find lots of pots, pans, baking dishes, and accessories like this funnel made out of metal coated in polished white enamel. Sometimes this type of item was referred to as part of the larger category of enamel ware. It was a durable, attractive, and easier to clean surface than bare metal.

As with a lot of enamelware products there are spots (as seen on the handle) where the enamel coating was missed. It is part of the charm.

The funnel is 3 1/2" tall with its round opening measuring 3 1/8" diameter. Good condition for its age, but needs cleaning.
