  • Details
This is a beautiful close to unused looking condition cobalt blue sugar and creamer set. It was manufactured by the American Hazel Atlas Glass Co. from the mid 1930's to the mid 1950's, with a break of a few years in the mid 1940s. The pattern was called Moderntone and has the geometric look of the modernistic designs that peaked in the 1950s. The cascading straight bands of glass down the body of the pieces mirrors the look of the common and popular lap board construction in middle class housing of the time.

Each piece measures approx. 3 3/4" in diameter and 3" tall.

A little bit of Americana and a lovely set to brighten up your casual tea or coffee time.

While this set is approx. 60 years old, it looks practically new, and would be wonderful for your use or display, or to give as a holiday or housewarming gift.
